COME VOLUNTEER WITH US

Volunteers are the backbone of Lewiston-Clarkston Partners Habitat for Humanity, and you can put your special skills to work helping us.

Volunteering is a wonderful way to give back to your community and make a difference in the lives of families here in the LC Valley.

There are several ways that you can get involved including:
  • Serving on our board of directors
  • Teaching home repair, budgeting, yard care, legal issue and more
  • Fundraising
  • Providing lunches, snacks or water to our construction volunteers
  • Office work
  • Helping us in our Habitat Store
  • Helping us build on our job site
  • Serving on a committee

HELP US BUILD

It takes approximately 2500 volunteer hours to build a Habitat house in the LC Valley; volunteering for even a couple of hours will help. You can volunteer for one day, or several days, a couple of hours, or eight hours; you can volunteer as often as your schedule will allow.

We welcome volunteers of any or no skill level. All volunteers must be over the age of 16, and sign a release of liability waver form. **Please note that volunteers age 16 or 17 MUST have a youth waiver signed by their parents and notarized; please call our office to schedule any volunteers age 16 or 17.

Groups are also welcome to come out and volunteer with us. Please call our volunteer coordinator, Chris Bringman Cell:509-254-4289, to schedule a date and time for your group to come out and volunteer on our jobsite.

Boots or thick soled shoes MUST be worn at the construction site, as well as appropriate clothing. Tools and equipment are located on site, bring your own gloves, water, and sack lunch.
