Lewiston-Clarkston Partners Habitat for Humanity is committed to creating affordable housing by building and renovating houses so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which people can live and grow.

We depend on the support of individuals, businesses, community organizations, and faith-based communities to help us build homes for hard working low-income families and eliminate substandard housing. Habitat depends on your support.

By becoming personally involved in the work of providing affordable housing, organizations and individuals realize their responsibility to become part of the solution. Habitat offers a way for both financial supporters and volunteers to see that their contributions make a difference.

The CORNERSTONE PROGRAM builds a solid financial base for each Habitat house by inviting individuals, businesses, community organizations and faith-based communities to partner with Lewiston-Clarkston Partners Habitat for Humanity by committing to donate to each house that is built by our affiliate.

Participants sign a pledge card with the amount they would like to donate to each house. Each time we start to build a new house, the Habitat office sends out a pledge reminder, and the Cornerstone members remit their tax deductible pledge amount.

Pledges can also be made as an annual donation or even a monthly donation.

The ultimate goal of Habitat for Humanity is to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the face of the earth by constructing and building adequate and basic housing.

Furthermore, all our words and actions are for the ultimate purpose of putting shelter on the hearts of people in such a powerful way that poverty housing and homelessness be eliminated.
